I think the yellow would be the happiest in your tank. I like the koles because they eat the most algea from what Ive heard, but they are kinda bland when it comes to color IMO. If you introduce them at the same time, you could put a purple, and a yellow with no problem. You should have a tang, and a dwarf angel as your star fish, lol that is what Im gonna do. You can get alot of color from both. Well good luck and let us know what you do,

Michael

I would love to get a flmae angel, but I want to get some polyps and mushrooms for the tank and I don't want them to get eaten. I'll probably go for the yellow tang, but I still love koles, and I would love to get both, but I don't want any fighting that could lead to death . Does anyone else think I could possibly have 2 tangs in my tank if I introduce them together when they are small? Thanks

If you introduce them together and about the same size they will fight and I believe both will survive.
But because these 2 get relativley large it will limit the other fish you can add.
I would go for it.

It appears to stay pretty small so it should be ok.
I have no idea if it gets very agressive.
