HI,
I went to lowes and they had GFI built into a three outlet short extension cord it works great, Its saved my ars a few times already  ...
Other wise maybe one of those defrbulators is a good thing..  I assume thats what you want is a GFI a surge protector will not prevent shock a gfi will not allow any current if its shorted out. 1 tiny drop of saltwater anywhere will short out things like power strips( I plug my Power strips into the GFI making it safe), ditto lights, heaters pupmps into the power strip into the GFI .. Did I miss anything, i ve shorted everything at least twice ina couple months its a learning curve..

psps I Have both GFI the first seems to be more sensative...the second came from Lowes'
