Look at garf.org for an id of that starfish. Its probably the mini people have been on about for years. There are sevral types, some eat sps, while others don't do any harm. They typically don't grow larger the 1.5". No, not a mini-brittle, a mini starfish.

Don't knock wholesalers, you have no clue what happens here. The exporters are the ones who typically get names wrong, the wholesaler is just selling what he bought it as. If you such an expert, please take a flight to PI and corrrect the exporters, it'll help us all.

heres a pic of the royal dottyback

thats where some fish get confused there are some that mimic other fish and this is what the dottyback does with the gramma. there are other types that are sold as the wrong thing because they are so close in likeness
