Default Sleeping clown

My new pair of 5 month old clowns are "sleeping" on the bottom of the tank at night. Actually one leans on the glass at the bottom while the other swims over it trying to get it up to play some more. Extremely odd and scarey for the first few nights til I concluded it was just resting/sleeping. Anyone else experience something like this?

My percs do same. Kind of startling when you first see.

Have never seen my maroons do.

Default Oh thank you

Although every morning when I get up they are fine it just seemed odd to watch them laying on the sand at night. They are tank raised and have never had an anenome and I've been told it wouldn't work in my tank with the lighting I currently have.

During the night, all four of my Clowns turn onto their sides and float on the surface of the water! Scared the heck out of me when they started sleeping this way. During the daytime, it's business as usual. Kas

how many watts...hmmm...I've been trying to figure that one out. I have the lighting that came with my JB 12G DX. Maybe 4 25 watt bulbs?
