Default Skimmer's Micro Bubbles, PLEASE HELP!!!

After adjusting my skimmer so that it works it's creating tons of microbubbles.

My tank is just full of them, I've loaded the sump with filters and they have no major affect. I'm using the pads you cut out yourself.

I have the water going through 6" x 4" filter before it gets to the pump, I also wrapped the prefilter on my pump with a 1/4" pad. Some of my pads floated to the top because they took on so many bubbles. I also added a small pad in front of the output on the skimmer. It's an in sump by the way, I don't think that really matters though.

How do I get rid of them, my skimmer is always making them, but now it's making a lot and it has to in order to work.

Do you think if I cut up a cotton shirt and wrapped it around my 6" by 4" pad it would help. All water passes through the pad before it reaches the return pump.
My sump is separated for the pad.

I've read a lot of post about micro bubbles, but mine are from the skimmer, I thought it was the return pipe at first and that may be adding to it, it mostly the skimmer though, but my sump is just full of micro bubbles.
About half of the bubbles make it to the pump, which is still a whole lot. The filters I made are helping a little, but like I said, not nearly enough.

Please Help!!!! Any ideas? Are there micro bubble filters, I looked online and couldn''t find any.
