| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Fuge is operational....well it has water flowing through it anyway. I still need to get the sand or miracle mud and some good algae. I have looked at every store around here within 100 miles and not one has any chaetomorpha(sp) or caulerpa. NOT ONE. Sad isn't it.
So I may have to resort to online or ebay. Anyone have a special place they go for the algae? Any and all help on that is appreciated.
Thank you,
Todd

| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Added 20lbs of live sand to the fuge tonight. I have some chaetomorpha coming tomorrow/friday. Compliments of Fragoutpost a 3REEF member. He was kind enough to expedite the shipping for me and only charged me the shipping cost for the macro.
Thank you Joseph. Karma for you on being so kind to me and helping me out. It is much appreciated. I owe you.

| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Fuge is up and running very well. Nitrates have gone down a bit already in 5 days. I was able to get some red macro to add to what Fragoutpost sent me. Thanks again Joseph.
Thank you Birdlady (WOW, I say that a lot....another reason to have you as a MOD) for your support and help with that.

| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Yes it is the Red Gracilaria. Have had it in since Sunday. It sems to be doing fine so far. Not noticing any die off or anything. Came with a couple pods too. Just need to get some more for the wifes new addition. Red Dragonet. We are leaving for AZ tomorrow at 5 a.m. for a couple weeks. Should be fun. I have already pulled up LFS in Tuscon so I can check them out too. If anyone knows of any that are your choice please let me know. Kind of late to be asking that I know.
Well Birdlady, your knowledge whether great or small, has helped me tremendously. I have appreciated and will continue to appreciate any and all feedback you have given and will of course share with all of us. You are a true asset to 3reef and especially me.

| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Got someone takin' care of the fishies for you while you are gone? Let me look around a minute...there was just a thread with a link to a co. that sells "portions o' pods" cause with the dragonet, you should definitely keep them going.....BRB |

Well, it would appear that you know about this thread since you started it!!! LOL!!! Thought I would put it up again anyways....
Have a nice Vacation!!!! I am too busy to go on vacation. Our camper sat unused this summer I am sorry to say. |

| Re: Skimmer in sump????? Well thank you for thinking of me with the thread. Yes I agree with you on the pods for the dragonet. I was going to order 4-5 packages of the pods from the link that was given to me. Can never have enough of those guys I am sure.
That stinks you were not able to use the camper. I hate when you get so busy as to not enjoy life a little bit. My wifes best friend is getting married this saturday and we are in the wedding so we are doing our vacation at the same time. Neither of us have been to AZ before so it should be fun. We shall see.
Thanks again Birdlady for everything. Very appreciated. Can't say that enough.
