Default Siphoning Live Sand

If u siphon live sand during your cleaning and i mean the sand with all the worms and the little living critters in it. Wouldn't you be siphoning up all those little guys also?

Yes. I see no need to clean a sandbed, especially if its set up properly.

I went to the NY Aquarium over the weekend, the divers were clean the tank and were siphoning the sand.
