red sea max beginner

hi everyone, we have had the red sea max up and running for 3 weeks . we have 8kg of live rock in it and last week we put in our first fish ( a damsel which i called doomed and if he lives for 2 weeks he will be going back to the fish shop). as a beginner i am not sure of the protein skimmer and how many bubbles it should make. i have asked my friendly fish shop but they only seem friendly when i want to spend money there and arent very helpful on the free advice. so if anyone has a red sea max i would love some advice. also how many corals and fish can i stock in the tank?

mattgeezer is from the newcastle area just north of sydney I think. He is on holiday right now, but will be back soon I think. Im sure he can help ya out and give ya pointers on which shops to shop at etc.
