| Petco...AWFUL! Is there any recourse against places that just outright dont take care of their fish? I have seen some pretty gruesome stuff in a few LFS. |

I bought a clown fish from there once, thinking I was getting a good deal on a good size fish, and it died the next day. This guy never cleans his tanks, every fish is living in a barely breathable cubical, and there are almost as much dead fish as alive in there. I wish there was some sort of health inspector for fish stores, like there are for the food industry. It wouldn't definately safe a lot of fishes lives, as well as a lot of fish keepers money. _________ 30g Saltwater tank with a Six-Lined Wrasse, Flame Angelfish (sml), Clown Fish, and Arrow Crab (maybe on short term residence right now) |

| Funny, before I knew an Oscar from a Piranha, I used to ogo to PetCo and the (old) guy there would lecture me on 1" of fish per 10 gallons!!! He had NO desire to sell fish, in fact, he probably would have preferred tonever ell ay sohe could take "proper care" of them. Which makes no sense since PetCo holds FW fish at about 1" per .5 gallons.
Anyway, there was ONCE ONE GUY at PetCo who gave a sh%#! |
