Talking Question about activated Carbon

Hey guys and gals,

I just bought some activated carbon(Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon), it doesn't say how much per gal to use. I have some media bags that are reusable and are 800 micron. My question since I don't have any info via my purchase is how much carbon should I use per gal? I have a 90 gal tank with a 25 gal Sump. Also how often should I use or change the bags of carbon?

_________

Perfecto 90 Gal with megaflow overflow, 110lbs LR(mixed), 130 lbs LS, Turboflotor 1000 multi, megaflow sump, magdrive 1800 ghp pump, lighting: 2x250 MH 14K, 4X54 T5's, Auto topoff system. Condy anemone, Manipora, green stripped mushroom, purple mushroom, and red mushroom, green eyed polyps, a recordia.

I use about a 1/2 cup per 100 gallons and change it out every 5 to 8 weeks nothing engraved in stone though I just changed mine last Monday and that was the first time since I can't recall now LOL Black Diamonds is what I use also it has a good iodine and molasses grading for the reef aquarium on average .
