Default POWERHEAD

Hi, I just got a aquaclear 402 powerhead and it seems to be making very fine airbubbles in the tank how do you get rid of these airbubbles. Aquaclear quite ironic ha. Thanks

Check the Venturi valve to be sure that it's closed tightly. Some models give you a cap so that you can remove the venturi all together and cap off that intake port. Other than that, some new pumps have trapped air in them that then gets turned into bubbles, but that usually goes away in minutes. Hope this helps.

Or take the hose off and submerge the PH under the water a couple of inches.

I never put the hose on the PH. Its very fine airbubbles that when I shut the powerhead off goes away
