Default Place for pods???

Evening everyone. Hope everyone is doing well.

The fuge is up and running as mentioned in the other thread. Thank you again fragoutpost for your help with the macro.

I have added some red macro this evening as well as some grudge from the bottom of a live rock bin that has been going for 2 months in hopes to get some critters in the fuge.

Well my wifes girlfriend came by this evening with a surprise for her. A Red Dragonet. It seems she did not do her homework on the menu for these guys. I am afraid with my reef being so new the tank will not have enough pods to support this little guy. I would hate for him to starve to death. Does anyone know where I can get some pods for the fuge? I am leaving out of town on Tuesday and would like to add some in before I leave to make sure he has plenty of food to eat. I have no idea if the reef has enough or not being only 3 months old.

Thanks for your time.

Todd

Oh I got one www.floridapets.com ! The "portion o 'pods" under inverts PODS

here's a quote from the site

"Amphipods and assorted microfuana are excellent additions to your main tank or refugium. Most of these tiny critters are detrivours or micro algae eaters. They are also a tremendous food source for fish and inverts of all kinds. Our portion O' pods contains approximately one hundred pods. I've compared prices, You won't beat this price ANYWHERE! CLICK PHOTO for information regarding these pods.

There has been a great demand for our pods. Any orders of pods or containing pods may take a few extra days to send out.

$7.95/portion"

Thank you both for the help. I will have to order those when I return from AZ. Don't think they can get me the pods by tomorrow morning at 7a.m.

Hopefully the little guy will find enough in the current tank to make it the next 2 weeks. I guess we will find out.

Thanks again.

He will be fine till you get back you have plenty of LR. I would suggest loading that fuge with pods when you get back.

That was my intention was to load it full of pods. As many as I can find actually. That way I know he will have plenty of food and they can multiply easily without having to worry about him eating them up faster than they can reproduce.

We'll see how successful my plan is when I do it though.

Thank you for your time.
