Question Peanut Worm

I think i just found a peanut worm that came out of my LR. My tank in 3 1/2 weeks old and is still cycling.

I just wanted to get opinions on if these worms are good or not.

I look online a lot to ID it because I can't find a good pic, but I think it is a peanut worm. Should I keep it, or get him out of my tank???

Keep it. They are an extremely useful worm....just ugly as heck.

Peanut Worm
Does it look like this?
Most worms are beneficial and don't harm other reef inhabitants!! Leave it in your tank...most are detrivores!

Thumbs up Finally a worm pic

I was finally able to get a picture of my worm to my gallery, but had problems adding them to this post, which I think is a peanut worm, but could be mistaken. As posted earlier, this worm appeared about 4 days after I added some new LR to my tank, which is approx 3 1/2 weeks old, and I am still in the cycling process although I have one damsel.

Please let me know if this is a peanut worm or not. I have look around the web, and I think this is the closest to a peanut. Oh yea, he is always out during the day.

Also the algae in the pics, I am guessing is diatoms?!?! I think that is what it looks like, but I do not know. I am in the cycling process so I am not incredibly worried about it.

Any feedback, suggestions will be appreciated!!!

Thank you everyone for your previous feedback!

I agree.

Also don't worry about the diatoms during the cycling process.

EDIT: Sara, to put your pictures into a thread, click on your gallery. Then hit "Copy to Clipboard"

I just did that to copy this.... [*img]http://www.3reef.com/photos/data//500/medium/Picture_001e.jpg[/img] but without the asterisk in front of the IMG tag.
