| My guess is your bioload (amount of fish) is way too much for size and age of tank, lr etc...
You need to seriously increase amount and frequency of water changes.
Let your water params determine how often and how much instead of doing at a arbitrary time, i.e. 3 weeks...
Do weekly for while and test every couple of days....
Given number of fish, you may even need to do more often then that. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

50% water changes are never good unless a traumatic event occrued. I would perform 10% water changes either every week or every other week.
Also what salt are you using? and are you using RO/DI

J | My LFS gets the water straight from the ocean. and i only use RO when my salinity gets a lil high from evaporation. But i'm going to try smaller, more frequent water changes based on what I'm testing at. I wanna get rid of some fish (all the damsels and the chromis), but I've grown attached. The dominoes host the anemone, and the 3stripe, chromis and clown have been together since the begining of time. Even before i got the tank! They even made it through two cyclings together. |

| From your sig - 25 lb of LR, no matter how porous, is not enough for a 75 gallon tank. Am I missing something, because I don't see a protein skimmer listed in your sig either... A good protein skimmer will help reduce nitrates a great deal. _________ |
