| Re: new member Welcome to 3reef!!!!!!!!!
If you have any questions about anything reef we'll all pitch in and try to answer them. Here's some karma for being new. _________ &&Right now I'm in the middle of a conversion from reef to Discus/ planted aquarium. Hair algae beat me down. Maybe a nano in the future. Everything screwed up so I'm converting to FOWLR. Wish me luck. |

| Re: new member So nice to see such a warm welcome. But when you hear what type of set-up I have you might all think differently about me.
I currently have a 10 gal nano going. For the past 8 months everything is going just awesome. I am taking it very slow due to the cost of this hobby.
I have done alot of reading about "nano" tanks and before I ripped my 25 gal freshwater which I love so much apart I thought I would give the 10 a try first.
Beginners luck maybe, I have had freshwater fish for over 20 years. So I am not new to the aquarium world only the marine world and eager to learn.
In my 10 gal I currently have 10 lbs of live rock, crushed coral base, mushrooms, xenia, bta, 1 tomato clown, 1 green chromis, snails, 2 baby crabs and lots of luck.
Everything has been in there for quite some time now and doing just great. I am going to be adding more rock slowly and some different corals too. The two fish get along just great believe it or not.
Thanks for the warm reply, I look forward to posting and getting some answers to quesitons.

| Re: new member Hi, no recent ones. I also don't know how to downsize them for posting purposes. I certainly can say that my tank is no show piece like others i have seen. My corals are small and few at the moment. |
