| new to forum I have had this 135 gal. tank going for 20 years, but last night the fish died and the inverts do not show any signs of problems. They were not even fed the night before. Thanks for thoughts |

| Hi,
Welcome to 3reef! All of your fish died at once? But your inverts are still alive and doing well?! I WOULD SAY IT IS A WATER PARAMETER ISSUE but if your inverts are fine(they are normally more critical of water issues than fish) I am a little short of reasons why your fish have died!
Do you have dinoflagellates in your tank? How is your Dissolved oxygen level?...you may have excess carbon dioxide in your water column! suffocating your fish! | salinity 1.023, algae turf with light on 24 hours a day. As I said the fish were not fed the day before. May not be able to figure this out because it was most likely a temp. thing. Old fish 3 tangs rock blenny mandarin, new fish 3 ocellaris clowns and banded pipe. |

| The changes in temperature could lead to problems with CO2, decreased DO, Ph variances along with alkalinity problems!
Did your fish have ich? due to possible temp. fluxuations or stress? |
