| Re: My 20g reef Try feeding a quality frozen food like marine supreme or formula foods. I would also try formula 1 small pellets. Brine shrimp have little nutrional value, its like popcorn to fish. _________ 75g reef with Nova Extreme 8 bulb HO T-5 lighting, refuge, Remora skimmer, DSB, Seio powerheads, Acro's, LPS corals, assorted zoo's & mushrooms, Yellow Tang, Maroon Clown, Blue Cleaner Goby , Cleaner, Fire and Sexy Shrimp, Coco Worm, T.Crocea Clam, Derasa Clam
120g FOWLR, 260w Orbit power compact lights, Remora Pro skimmer, 30g DIY Sump/Refuge, DSB,Seio Power heads, Powder Blue Tang, Purple Tang, Flag Fin Angel, False Eye Puffer, Copperbanded Butterfly and a Moorish Idol |

| Re: My 20g reef Thanks for the food sugestions. Now it seems like i have red slime. What do you recomend i do? I have done two 20% water changes in the last two days but it came back today so i changed some water again. Should i try some red slime remover product or just keep doing water changes and such? |

| Re: My 20g reef Your going through the normal cycling process. *Just make sure your nitrates are low and your phosphates are zero and it should take care of its self. *Don't leave the lights on more than they need to be and don't over feed. * Also, *do you have macro algae in your sump? *If not, get a bunch as this will compete with the slime algae for nutrients. *Above all, be patient! www.macro_algae.com or check out Something fishy or A world of fish in Richfield MN. If you can't find any macro algae let me know, I always have excess caulerpa |
