Molting

How often should shrimps, crabs molt, my Coral banded shrimp has molted 3 times in the last month and most of my hermits have at least once as well.

My cleaner shrimp molted very often.. I ended up trading him in after about 4 months because he was so huge he looked out of place in my nano cube 12.

Our Ceaner Shrimps molt about twice a month and our Coral Bandeds molt about once a month...They have all doubled in size in the past 6 months.

I remember the first time a shrimp i had molted. I was like what the heck... It is amazing........

never mind the pics aren't in there anymore for some reason.... also are you using iodine in your tank? I've heard it can make them molt ..

I still take inventory of the tank when I see the remains of a shrimp molting, you never know....

one of my supplements does contain Iodine but I didnt think it would be so effective at helping them molt.

yep read that link I gave you there's stuff on that(iodine and molting) too

with the correct supplements besides iodine they will molt just as in nature
