Default Loud Gurgling Noise in Overflow!  What to do!

Ahhhhh...I just set up my tank, and the loud gurgling noise in the overflow is really irritating me! What can i do to stop the noise?!?!? Please Help!!! Thanks!

Well untill the pre filter breaks in you can wait for that or put a 12" peice of air line down the hole and attach the other end with a rubber band or something that will keep it from dropping down the drain tube.

Sorry, What prefilter? right now..its just draining down. Where can i get the prefilter, is that suppose to stop the noise?

The air tube will let more air into the drain and stop the noise.

The pre filter is the sponge that goes around the drain tube.

Im so sorry, but which one will you go with? how much is the prefilter. and what and where can i get an air tube. can you show me a real pic? im very sorry, im doing this all by myself and i dont know anyone i know that could help.

OK then I must do a pass on this and he has the internal over flow. I think he needs a durso pipe but will let the others here reply on this one.

Does your pipe look something like this?
