| looks sinister... I fear that there is something bad in my new LR. I just got it 2 days ago. Yesterday I saw something about 1" long with a tube shaped body and one end has little tentacle like things about 1/4" across. It came out of one piece of LR and floated to another where it crawled around and has been there since.
I'm new to the creatures aspect of saltwater and I don't have a good knowledge yet of the corals and inverts that I might find in the tank. The live rock was aqua cultured of the coast of Florida if that helps at all.
Any help would be great
Thanks. _________ 1 true-percula & 2 fox-face firefish. 46-Bow w/ 20gal as sump. DIY wet/dry and DIY overflow. Coral Life skimmer. QuietOne return pump. Eheim ProII canister (just in case my DIY stuff fails). 36" Nova Extreme (2x39w 10k, 2x39w actinic with a fan loud enough to drowned out the noise from the tank) 48lbs. LR. Tank 2 is a 55G Fresh Water w/ 4 Discus. Tank 3 is a 10G fresh with Tetra. |

Do you mean a mantis shrimp? because it's defiantly not shrimp like. I watched as it came out of a small tube/hole in the LR and it's kind of like a 1"long worm with an anemone on one end. |
