You can add live rock any time in the cycle. Most of the little critters will survive the cycle, most of mine did as I never had an lengthy cycle or anything indicating ammonia spikes.

You can scrub it to clean it, but you might kill stuff off. Just add it as it will help cycle your tank.

if its cured rock then you proly wont see anything happen really, so you'd be able to add anytime during cycle..or you can do it like i did and add just after cycle, but htat was just cuz i didn haave money before.

I like to add my live rock when I do a water change and I take the water out of my tank and put it into a container that is large enough to fit the live rock in. Then, I like to just rinse the live rock in that tank water that won't be going back into the tank. Simply put the liverock in the container of tank water and vigorously shake the rock. That should get rid of any dead nasty stuff you don't want in the tank and you can just add the rock directly to the tank. Then before you discard the water, examine the material that came off the live rock and salvage any cool critters or whatnot before discarding. Just my thoughts. Good luck
