All live rock is good im my opinion. The nice thing with differnt live rock from different areas of the world is you get neat things indiginous to that part of that reef. Rock that is porous is best as it has a greater surface area and usually is less expensive!

Thanks Coral,

I was told that Bali rock is very porous and very light? is that type of live rock good? Is lighter live rock better than heavy live rock? What kind of live Rock do you have Coral?

I have different kinds from different reefs. I like the variety of life that comes with rock from different parts of the world. I try to find porous rock as it is better for beneficial bacteria etc. since their are alot of holes, nookes and crannie, creating more surface area which is what it is all about. Plus the porous rock tends to be lighter therefore less costly!
I have EVA, Marshall is.,Fiji , Caribbean and Tonga!
