okay, I have decided to add vho lighting to my current set up. I have attached a picof what I am talking about. Now does anyone have any suggestions or instructions on what I can house this all in? Like a wooden box of some sort? And any suggestions on what material is the best for reflectors?

You will want to use a reflector they are usually inexpesive here is an example:Ocean Encounter: Parabolic Reflector
You will certainly want to make sure your ballast isn't exposed to moisture- as far as mounting your endcaps how about retrofiting an cheap floresent fixture from your local home depot?
