Lighting during vacation

Hi guys! I have this question. I will be leaving for vacation tomorrow and was thinking on leaving the lights off for 5 days. Obviously, I don't have any corals yet. Will this affect my fish in any way?

Inhabitant list:
1 Yellow Tang
1 Flame Angelfish
3 Chromis damselfish
2 Yellow tailed damselfish
10 Turbo Snails
10 Hermit Crabs (Blue legged)
3 Feather Duster Worms
1 Fire Shrimp
1 Urchin

The purpose of doing this is that I would like to cut back algae growth while away and also keep on the safe side regarding a short circuit... Thanks!

When I had my fish only tank I went on vacation for 10 days, one of my cats must have unplugged my lights somehow. I was using an auto feeder but my neighbor was coming over to check on my tank and feed the cats everyday.

She never said anyting aobut the lights being off to me so they were off for the full 10 day's. I had pretty much the same list of fish but I also had a large Naso tang and a niger trigger and picaso trigger.

Except for the audible sigh I heard comming out of the tank when I finally figured out what was wrong and the absolute total lack of algae, and I mean absolute! there was no ill effects from the lack of light.

Like gazog mentions, there will be no ill effects from leaving your lights off in your fish only tank while you are gone. In a fish only tank, lights are used solely for our enjoyment. The fish don't need white lights provided that they get some type of ambient (not direct) light from either the sun or your home's lighting so that they can experience a day and night cycle.
