Default Help weird clear slime taking over tank

I have this weird clear slim looking stuff all in my tank. I clean it daily and there is more the next day.
My Water is
SG. 1.024
PH 8.1
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0
Cal 400
Alk 7 Meg/L High I know
Phosphate 0
Iodide .1
Please Help I have attached a Picture

75 gal,coralife 95W X4 50/50, 4" Aragonite crushed coral, Red Sea Skimmer, Wave-maker and 5 Maxi Jet 1200 Pumps,coil denitrator, 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 1fire shrimp,1 Bi Colored Dwarf Angle,1 pajama cardinal, 2 neon gobys, 1 diomand goby,Crabs, Snail And about 20 lbs of live rock. Plan on adding more LR.

Are you sure little Jimmy and his friends aren't spittin' in the tank? hehehe. Just a little 3Reef humor.

If it's clear, it might just be coral mucus. Try to find out why they are doing that. They usually do that when they are fighting or something is bothering them. Have any corals in there btw?

Alot of times that will happen if you have recently purchased live rock. Small boring sponges and clams will die and create a cloudy or slimy clear mucus that also smells like rotten eggs. However, I haven't seen as much as displayed in your tank.
Try syphoning it out and remove it off the rocks with a soft bristle tooth brush.

thanks so much. I did a bout 2 weeks ago buy 2 pieces of cured live rock. and the tank does smell like rotten eggs. I do not have any corals except a few mushrooms that come on on of my live rocks. so this will go away?

todday it seems a little better. well see. I will try cleaning the LR with a tooth brush.
