Does anyone know if I need to get my heat up and running if I plan on sitting on liverock for a few months? Do I need heat for my liverock to flourish?

It'll be in a 110 tank with nothing else but the substrate... just cycling a tank for awhile. I'm in Texas, it's typically 65-70 degrees in the house. 50 pounds of liverock.

It depends what you want to keep alive. If you just want bacteria, then probably not. If you want feather dusters, worms etc.. then probably. Also, you will probably need a powerhead and you will need to add some food occasionally.
