| good water parameters Ok, finally, my water parameter is coming around:
Ammonia and Nitrite = 0
Nitrate < 5 ppm
But my pH is a bit low; 7.8 - 8.0. What can I do to increase it?
Also, I want to get about 70 Carribean Blue Leg hermit crabs in there, is it safe to put them in all at once.
Thanks!
GKW

| Use a marine buffer. Try Seachem it can safely raises & maintains pH to 8.3

| Reeflover, I was thinking about the maine buffer, but I've heard that only a temporary solution. I remember something about poor oxygen exchange in the water???
kb.bear, I know right...I just decided on that number because most online stores sell that many in a package along with snails, crabs, and shrimp.
Since my tank is not established yet, I might just get a few first.
Thanks! |
