| I'm do not know when boxing day is but your fish will be fine if you do not feed them for 2-3 days. If you only lose a gal a day it won't be the end of the world because as a percentage your tank should survive just fine. Those of us with sumps worry more than you would because we are worried about burning out our pumps. Your Temp should be controlled by your heater and cooling at that time should not be an issue.
Please let me know if this helps. I often leave my tank for 3 days in the winter with no issues at all.

| I agree with the above advise but if you're really concerned, buy yourself an automatic feeder: Ekimixo Automatic Feeder - Pet Solutions |

| Oh that is a relief. I have read horror stories but mostly with people who have hard plumbing. |

| Last time i was away for a weak my sump sprung a leak, that was a fun day back! With out the SUmp i add and extra gallon to the tank, rises it above normal to cover your evaporation. Just don't go over boeard that you change the specific gravity to much.

| You should have nothing to worry about at all nemo. I leave my tank on weekends thru the summer months to go camping and never have had an issue. I have gone from feeding twice a day, untill the red on the sand started buggin me, then went to once a day, now I feed only about once every other day. As JT said, every third day wouldnt hurt a thng. Have a good holiday and your fishys will be fine.
