Default Getting All the Puzzle Parts

I'm planning on a fish and softie tank. This is what I have so far.

AGA 120RR Tank
Bio-Fil 180 Sump 30.5x13x16.5
GenX/Mak4 external return pump 1200gph
2 Eheim Jager TS 150w Heaters
2 Koralia #4's
Aqua Controller Jr.
Purely H2O Optima V RO/DI unit with a 32 gal Brute container

I did get some aqua gloves, siphon, mag float, 2 160 salt mixes, and refractometer.

For a skimmer I'm thinking either a Tunze 9010 or an AquaC EV180 w/mag7 pump. For lighting I was thinking a Tek 6 bulb T5 unit but I'm open for suggestions on the skimmer and lighting.

I've never been down this road before and want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.

How would this light be? Hamilton 2x175 MH 4x55wPC. I was against MH since I thought it would heat up the tank but if I went with something like this I could cut back on the MH time a little.

I don't understand the AquaC EV180 with a mag 18. Is that a submersible pump? I put down the 7 since it an option on one of the vendor sites.

If the skimmer is in a sump would I plumb it directly from a drain line and have it return directly into the tank, or have it pick up the water from the sump and deposit it back in the sump?
