 |  Flourestent vs. Pc?
I was wondering if there was any chart or guide line that would explain the difference between 20w fluorescent and 20w PC. I use alot of fluorescents and am buying more and more pc's but I would really like to know the difference in the outputs. Thanks for all your info gang. |

Theres a big difference in PAR and depth that they penetrate. I'm no expert but have read some articles on the subject. Briefly, the pc bulbs put out more photons per second in the visible light spectrum necessary for photosynthesis to take place than the regular flourescents do for a given power requirement.
