Default fish

is it true you can't have angel fish in a reef tank? i read this but i want to know by real hobbiest. the fish i'm most interested in are:

yellow tang
clowns
watchman goby
scooter blenny
angels

what do u guys think?

Most if not all angel fish will pick at and eat corals. Even the ones that are reputed to be "semi reef safe" are not guaranteed to leave your corals alone.

check out my thread in the fish forum...i was askin about dwarf angels a few posts down i think and got some pretty good responses. I think the thread title was fish suggestions or something

thanks so much. i did read about your angelfish dilema, i love the fire angel as well and there is a cool angel that is blue and white striped that i love. thanks for the suggestions.

yep no problem. and i'm thinkn the angel w/the blue and white stipes gets pretty big...i dont know the name offhand, but i think i know what one ur talkin about. Does it have a really weird kinda confusing pattern? if thats the one, and this is for your 55, id say you should prolly forget about getting that one, at least till you get a bigger tank...for a 55 i'd say that only dwarf angels will work.
