Other than putting a basket around the duster I don't see how you are going to stop the Tang. They swim around the tank picking at algae and stuff on the rocks and glass. It's a natural part of what they do, and for some reason this Tang has got it in its head that the feather duster tube looks like a nice place to pick at.... Maybe someone else will have a better idea, sorry
