Yes. If you do regular water changes, you shouldn't have to add any supplements but if you don't I would recommend using Kents Super Buffer for your Alk, Kents Turbo calcium for the Calcium and plain old Epsom salts for your Magnesium.

You say green algae, is that a good thing?? im new to this. What kind of algea or color is a good one i have noticed that looking at pics that a lot of people have a red algea or something growing all over (on the glass mostly) is this good and if not how can you keep this from happening.
