Default Cycle water in a garbage can?

In process of 37 to 90 gal upgrade. I've been cycling water in a 29 gal (2 weeks now) with LR, LS and a bloated rancid cocktail shrimp with the plan to add that water to the 90 as well. I want to use this tank as my sump/fuge, and looking at the stand, it would be best to put it in there b4 the 90 goes on top. So I have to have the 29 sump ready at the time of the move. Instead of nickel and diming everyone with my stupidity, here goes:

1. Can I finish cycling the contents of the 29 (and then some) in a 55 gal garbage can or rubbermaid tote, with PH's, filter and heater?
2. Do I need to do a water change on the cycling tank?
2. Can I use acrylic for the inside of the sump or do I need to use glass?
3. What kind of acrylic do I get?
4. How long should the sealant cure b4 using it?
5. Does the protein skimmer come b4 or after the fuge?
6. Will you still love me, to-mor-row?

Any responses to the above (#6 not included), would be greatly appreciated.

Help me Obi-wan's, you're my only hope.

Not really if you move the rock and or the sand there will be some die off and once that shrimp is taken care off the bacterial will die off anyways as there is less load on them and bacteria can not be stored like a savings account for when they are needed .. And when they die they consume oxygen at a huge rate and then fouls the system.. I'd set the system up get it all changed over add a single little yellow tailed Damsel to maintain a steady load and let it cycle on through . Buts thats who I'd do it . I'm sure others will offer up other methods that work just as well .

2. Do I need to do a water change on the cycling tank? NO
2. Can I use acrylic for the inside of the sump or do I need to use glass? Either is fine, acrylic may be easier to work with
3. What kind of acrylic do I get? I would think about 1/4 inch thick
4. How long should the sealant cure b4 using it? About 24-48 hours
5. Does the protein skimmer come b4 or after the fuge? After

Hope this helps
