From my understanding, they are captive bred. Casey order a huge shipment of aussie corals, lots of LPS's. Some super nice open brains.

I've had 1 for 3 years.We call them tree corals.My LFS has 1 with over 50 heads on it.The polyps extend up to 2 inches.It looks like a bunch of flowers,truly beautiful.He said I can have it for $500.Yeah right.I'll be seing him tomorrow and find out the real name.

i paid $40 aus my local shop sells his corels in catagories $15, $25, $40 and $60

every where else i go i see some of these for upto $150 depending on the size and what it is ... so im not gonna complain

unfortunatly if try 3 different cameras and cant seem to get a good pic of anything in the tank the pics i posted are about as good as i can get them with out buying a non digital camera and scanning images

Alot of stuff in oz is more expensive then it is here becuase of the strict import regulations etc. Its a heck of a lot closer to fiji and other areas, but harder to get the stuff because of customs.

calls it a golf ball corelis that the same as goniopora?

The scientific name is Duncanopsammia axifuga, aka duncan coral.

thnx for the info guys, maybe my coral now has a chance to live again

I fed my sun coral today and it looked like it wanted to come out but it didnt i spose ill keep trying it might pick up and come good again sure hope so its a nice looking peice "when" it comes out.
