65 gal 24" deep wanting to upgrade to mh lighting

I have a 65 Gal setup, I have one aneonme with a false percula clown already living in harmony, I also have one mushroom, and two small polyp rocks, I am wanting to expand from conventional florecent lighting into metal halides, I am a little lost in the difference in 10000k and 15000k and all of that if there is anyone out there who can help I would be greatful, Thank you.

Hi there, as far as the k rating goes, Im not a real expert but I can tell you that the higher the k, the blueish the light. Now as far as your depth, I would go with a 250watt bulb.
