MH Pendents?

    I see that MH pendents are pretty cheap, and was wonder if a pendent is a good idea for lighting a 30gal tank?

    MH Pendents are fine but you need to get something for your actinic lighting for the tank as well.

    i think the pendants are a good idea i had one over a 15. just make sure you get a well balanced bulb like 12 or 14k to make up for the fact you dont have actinics.

    well I spoiled the my tank and just bought a sunpod MH with a 150watt 14,000K bulb, comes with hanging kit too. so now I will have 5 watts per gal and a really nice fixture, can't wait for it to come in the mail. now I can buy a couple coral
