How long do you run MH?

    My LFS suggested I run MH lights about 4 hours a day, the compact fluorescents 8-10. I'm working on 3 small frags right now- a colt, mushroom and zoo. I realize factoring in water depth and position of corals in the tank all factor in, but I'm getting lost in the "lighting debate"! I assume some of this is trial and error, but I'd be interested to hear from the rest of you-

    Matters what coral you are keeping. I run my MH's for 7 hrs a day and my VHO Actinics for 16 hrs a day.
