OK, was that a joke about a blue hippo? LOL. Looking at it magnified it does look like it could possibly be coraline. How cool would that be, blue coraline?

I know. I felt bad about backing out of the deal but I didnt want to dump more into a system I didnt really want. The one I am looking at tomorrow is 26" high, 18 1/2" wide, and 60" long. Kinda an intermediate long, lol

I guesse it could be... but blue coraline? Ive only seen that at Monterey Bay Aquarium. That would be cool though. But its real soft-like, not like the hard scales that coraline actually forms.

See if you can find anything on their stalks or "skeletons" or whatever changing colors. Mine of late has been turning colors, mostly blue and pinkish-purple (simliar to coraline). I'm pretty sure its not a bad thing, but just want to make sure. I started a thread about it but no-one seems to know

2130: The tank was brought back online with the sump. The GPS closed up immediately. Will keep an eye on that. I will tweek the skimmer and watch for the leak again in the morning.

In any case, a new 75 or 90g is in the works. If I can find a 90g, I will go with that.

1300: Put a bunch of silicone on the offending area. We'll see what happens.

1800: Silicone is set. Will wait till tomorrow morning to reactivate sump.

All is well with the inhabitants with the exception of the flower pot. It is not blooming. Not enough light. Bummer. It is going back next weekend.

I have a leak in the upper front corner again. I have the return pump turned off but the rest of the PHs going. I will mess with it later tonight or tomorrow morning before work. I will let it cure 24 hours and call it good. It is looking like I may need to replace the tank. I am going to do 75g again as I want to save my money...

*Upon first glance the tank is OK. Small filter sock was replaced yesterday. No water change scheduled for this weekend. I did a 30% WC two weeks ago and ended up doing a 30% WC last week with the leak thang. The plan is 7% (5g) WC every Sunday and 30% WC the first Sunday of the month.

*I am going to cut a piece of acrylic soon. I am just going to wedge it in. I will put a clear aquarium underwater glue on it later. Meanwhile, I will stock it immediately and adjust the flow accordingly....
