Just felt like saying that I have the eshopps nano skimmer and I absolutely love it.

Only drawback is that it runs a little bit loud, and the sponge at the bottom requires cleaning ever 2 weeks or so.

    Definitely worth the "trouble" though.

Are the top 5 in any specific order?

I'm sure it preforms better, but being on a budget I had to settle for almost half the cost (MSRP for tunze is 210, where the eshopps is 109).

No particular order. There isn't a consensus among our staff on which nano skimmer stands alone as "the best" since some work better for different scenarios than others. It's easy to narrow it down though since the same names keep popping up as staff favorites. We can look up to see which are most popular among our customers if you're interested (sorted by units sold).
