I constantly see my elegance picking up dwarf ceriths and trying to eat them, I saw one that he almost swallowed and I was able to get it out...what should I do? Is this normal?

Feed your elegance more. They can digest the exoskeleton of a krill quite easily Vs. having to poop out a snail shell.

I had a rather large carpet eat snails, large ones too every time one would seem to detach from the glass over the carpet.
Ok for the carpet...... not so good for the snail.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have heard of them eating stomatella snails as well. I myself think that is rather strange, seems like any snail would be able to get away. I would really like an image if you get a chance.
