What is this on my live rock

there is something growing on my live rock im curious what it is it looks like a sea anemone

Weird. Definitely not aiptasia from the looks of the polyps. Looks like some kind of coral polyps but nothing I've ever seen before.

It may be Anthelia(soft coral similar to Xenia, though it grows singly as oppossed to Xenia that grows like a stalk of broccoli)!

Anthelia grows on a mat so I'm not so sure that's what they are either. Any chance you could get a really close up shot of the polyps?

That is aiptasia.

It is not anthelia. Amcarrig is correct on it growing as a mat similar to zoanthids.

Some people call them rock anemones, but they are pests.

i call them glass anemones, but tomatoe tomahto, get rid of them if it's possible.

I'm still not convinced. Take a look at the tenticles on an aiptasia:





And then compare them to the tenticles on the original poster's picture. Not at all similar.

Is there a such thing as BSP - brown star polyps ?

Looks like bleeched GSP to me :?
