Wow, that got heated! Anyone recommend a place to get good quality dead rock, base rock? I have two other tanks to get the coralline from. I just don't want to chance starting a new tank with tag along parasites and menacing worms.

Thanks for the ideas.

Dustin

Nah....it's far too hot outside to get heated in here

Do a Google search for "Reefer Rocks." They sell dead base rock on-line for a good price.

Wow. That stinks. If your LFS doesn't sell it, the only other place I've seen online is REEF AQUARIUM BASE ROCK SELECTION

Why not make your own? You most likely have all the supplies you need at stores close to you. Plus it is very nice to have a rock that fits perfectly "over there" , or "over here".

I don't know if making rock sculptures is my cup of tea. I'm handier with car stereos and making cancer treating drugs, than making rocks. I will check with the people you (amcarrig) recommended on Monday. Or I could order some cheap Fiji rock and cure in trash cans for a few months. Hopefully starve out the parasites (ick, worms, apitasha (sp),and ect.). Got lucky with the first two tanks might not get so lucky with the third tank.
