I have changed my rock around many times. Everytime you get a new piece you change it all around again. My only advice would be to keep it of the glass and like the others said try and leave some space around the bottom of the rock. Then when stacking it pussh down on the rock just to make sure its stable and won't crash down in the tank.

I tend to agree that 1-2lbs of LR seems extreme. But by no means is Sand a better source of denitrification. regardless of coraline algae Rock is your best source of the bacteria necessary to convert Ammonia and Nitrite.

very very ture! I now know this. Im on like number 5 on rock redos, and I still dont like it, lol. One day im gonna have to just leave it, and move on, he he. Good luck,
