| ordering live rock i found a deal on ebay to order some live rock. it was way cheeper to get it there then it was at my lfs. i asked the seller how long it has been in his aquarium for and he said between a month or two. its a fully cycled tank as well. right now i do have fish and snails in my tank at home. now im assuming i should re cure this rock to be on the safe side when i recieve it?
it takes about 3-4 days to get it.
your feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone |

| There will be some pretty significant die-off on rock during shipment.
Essential you re-cure outside tank before adding it... _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

| get a rubbermade tote, a heater and a powerhead, just keep it at normal aquarium temps and good strong water movement. You'll know how much die off you had just from the smell when you open the box

| I've also heard of having a higher salinity (SG) while curing. it helps kill off any unwanted parasite/ hitchhikers and supposedly speeds things along.
