An Australian fish cost about 3 x's more on average from our wholesaler . Now I guess it could be next to impossible to tell the difference from one to the other ? I have never noticed any with their outward appearance But I guess a LFS would not think twice about giving up one for the other ? As a rule all of the wholesalers we deal with list them as Pacific or Australian

Well, I have the copperband butterfly fish...don't know if its an Australian one.....4 weeks of QT and in the tank he's going!

Ok all, Copperband hit the main tank this morning....Aiptasia 0, coperband around 12. He took to the tank with no problems and is happly consumming aiptasia. It might take him some time but he definately is eating them....I need to get a video...he's very quick when he hits them.

Update on the aiptasia....I have none..... My copperband is not very happy with eating frozen food but it will survive....lol.
