Not necessarily, but if you don't mind, it might help potential buyers out. I haven't seen them before and I haven't seen people mention them before. My intent was to show that the taotronic type of lights are now being offered in different forms (under different names).

I do know a lot of folks thing the Bridgelux LED are kind of weak. I have seen where they think 3 Bridgelux equal 1 Cree. Don't know if that is the case or not though. The fixture looks decent enough though.

Thanks Cosmo, I've read them all.

The links I provided have a unit with an LCD control panel and the other one offers reds and greens in addition to the typical blues and whites of the Taotronics. I haven't seen those mentioned.

Is that what Taotronics use (Bridgelux?). I have to wonder about some of these "reports". Are they true or are companies trying to minimize competition (rhetoric)?

No, if you read some tech sheets and testing, the Cree's do outperform the bridgelux. But, the Bridgelux are just as capable, ya just need a few more.

Well, I think I'll be giving it a go. The LCD light unit above is pretty cool.
