Default Finally have radions

After much research and debate my radions came in yesterday. I have 2 for my 75 gallon. Back to reading threads to find out what is the best way to begin with them. I have 2 175 mh that I am replacing.

Sweet. You'll love them. I started even lower than that...as I have learned with LED over the last 2 years, slower is better. I started mine at 30%, and went up from there. 2 months in, I am at 55% with growth and color explosion!

I went from AI Sols with 2x24W T5HO Supplements running 70% whites.

Really FOD? I think 50% is pretty good right now for me. I just spent an hour wrastling the software but i think my program update will stick. At 45% my red planet still had a very deep green skin to it. I will use that as my bleach guide.

Cutch are you using natural or artificial?

That is all you need to worry about...and honestly it is so much easier to figure out your LED "PAR estimates" by SPS bleaching. I don't know what lighting you were going from ingtar, but seeing comparative numbers and peoples experience, I am starting to believe the AI Sol's to be overrated as far as their numbers are concerned...although, it could be the Radion's being underrated.

I went from a 4 bulb t5 (2 Ati Blue + Aquablue Special Fiji Pink) At 45% I'm seeing alot of growth I didn't previously. Good be alot of factors though. The 50% intensity seems alot brighter however!

I am going to check out a few of the programs and still have to mount them under canopy. I would like to see the difference between artificial and natural. I have mixed corals. Sps,lps, and softies.
