Why Did My Snails Die ?

When I started my aquaruim, almost a year ago, I introduced, slowly, 15 snails, 5 of each kind. Now, I have none left & I am doing all of the cleaning myself. What happened ? My PH is off & I've been working on bringing that up. Is it that or could it be something else ?

Snails are pretty sensitve to water conditions.

Or was your tank so algae free, they starved?

Hermits can do them in also.

+2 on the ground probe and have you tested for copper in your water??
Make sure that all your pumps are for saltwater and pond pumps because you could have copper fittings in the pump housing.
If the tank was used the previous owner could of treated for problems with copper....
