Default What type of Anemone am I
What kind of Anemone is this guy? I got him in Portland last weekend. I know he needs good lighting and I have that covered but do I feed him? I dont see his mouth but havent looked to close. He kinda moved under this rock. Brushed my Xenias a little and they looked stunned for a few hours but are all ok now.

Need care advice from the freindly experts here at 3reef
I can always count on you people to help. I try to contribute where I can also. Thanks a bunch.

It looks like a purple tip without the color on its tips. I think you will find it hard to get a clown fish to take up residence with it. I had a couple of them, unfortunately they didn't survive long.

Common Atlantic anemone, aggresive and a wanderer, they oftem end up in powerhead intakes. Does not require strong lighting, this ones okay under flourescents. IMO its a Condy.

The guy at the FS said it was a canda.....somthin. None of them had purple tips though.
